I don’t really like the term “false prophet,” but I’ve seen it used quite extensively in cases where people have expressed an opinion that is contrary to ours. I don’t necessarily believe that all individuals with spirits of false prophecy have evil intentions. Most have probably lived Christianity a little differently.
All of us have probably heard the Church announce one too many times that we know in part. The reality is that none of us is the same person as the other. Although we may have similar spiritual gifts, our collective life experiences, training and specific callings often lead us to alternative approaches in the way we overcome the same challenges. In process, each person may form a different impression of who God is. For some he’s Father God and Jesus in one. For another, Jesus may still be the Son of God and for another, the Holy Spirit might called upon to play God.
During our journey to achieving perfection, our theology is often challenged and refined. And for many, it may take an entire lifetime.
The spirit of false prophecy is the enemy of truth and can pop up in everyday life to undermine our success. In some cases, it might work together with another person’s spirit of Parkinson’s to cause people to make poor decisions or even slander. They achieve this by overriding portions of incoming revelation that is being released in audio form. It can be done so seamlessly that an entire sentence containing error might be dropped effortlessly into the conversation. Obviously with spirits of false prophecy, don’t be surprised if you discover a significant amount of embellishment.
This is why all prophets and individuals with gifts or prophecy and seer ability should verify their data with actual evidence in the real world. It is up to them to recognize which portions of the data is true. Seers who engage in a lot of prophetic work should learn to build profiles of their regular visitors. This might include the evil spirits of their friends, family members, co-workers and influencers. Sometimes, evil spirits like to hide in another to form a demonic hybrid; however, their appearance or use of pet phrases may eventually give away their identity. By analyzing shifts in appearance, voice quality and speech patterns, they will learn to recognize evidence of these collaborative relationships.
In addition to the spirit of false prophecy, it is not unusual for spirits of mental disorder to stop by to disrupt the work of the prophet. This might include obnoxious spirits of schizophrenia, the spirit of dementia that may cause elevated emotions, the spirit of Parkinson’s that is often over controlling and the spirit of Alzheimer’s who is notorious for eating or blocking our memories. All these spirits of mental disorders can be cast out or removed with the assistance of an archangel, but don’t think it’s a done deal. Unless those spirits are exterminated by archangels, chances are they may show up again at a later date. Or someone else’s may coming along to harass you.
Seers that are strong “feelers” may sense spirits of false prophecy at work in their lower abdominal area. Since humans do not understand spiritual tongues, it is technically the role of the Holy Spirit to correctly decipher the meaning of the communications from other spiritual beings. The reality is that they not all well-versed in interpreting or have the patience to deal with it. Many of them, who are still indulging in moonlighting, are spending less time providing quality service to their actual clients. When this happens, spirits of false prophecy – and others – may seize this opportunity to masquerade as the Holy Spirit.
